Rosemary Abrahams

 Rosemary Abrahams' work will be on view in the Priestley bar from April 15^th to May 17^th, 2002.

As part of the Priestley Arts Weekend, (see details in Priestley mailing or call 01274 637862 for more details) Rosemary will be giving a short talk about her work at 8pm on Friday 3 May. She will be around to talk to people after her presentation.

Rosemary has worked for many years as an abstract artist involving the use of simple forms enriched by the application of metal leaf on gesso-like grounds. Vibrant colours, cool geometric forms and metallic lustre combine to striking effect. More recently she has turned towards more representative work. This exhibition shows both sides of her work and the strong links between the two.
