Daisy Bell and Jack Prince were once a famous acrting duo.  Now she is widowed and needs to make her way on her own.  Desperate to return to playing classic roles, she is forced by her dwindling resources to accept a humble part in 'The Tempest', and finds herself on a steep learning curve.

Through Daisy, the play explores a number of themes, such as coping with loss and change, self-discovery, youth and age, and learning through theatre.  The Tempest of the title is both Shakespeare's and Daisy's own.
